    Ati 3870x2: CrossfireX by MemoryExtreme Team

    Hi guys,

    first run on CFX waiting to use a new BlackOps...

    SETUP :
    QX9650 @LN2
    Asus P5E3 WS
    Cellshock DDR3 1800
    2x ATI 3870X2 BBA version @H2o By OCLabs MB-G3 Video

    How are you guys overclocking your 3870x2s? My buddy has 2 Visiontek 3870x2s in crossfirex and he can't seem to do much with them...

    any help on how to get you gpu/mem clocks up?

    he says he's using amdgpu tool to clock each core individually, but when he turns up the clocks, he sees no performance increase. He gets 22k in 3d06 at stock clocks, and when he oc's them to 900/933 he still takes down 22k...

    he's so frustrated and needs some help... anybody???

    are you sure that all the cores are clocked ?

    afther you apply the new clock for each core, did you check on the AMD gpu tool panel ( tab thermal sensor) to see if they are clocked ?

    Wich is the frequency of the CPU ? ( should be a cpu bottleneck related problem)

    He says he's sure the cores are clocked. He has checked the thermal sensor tab...

    He has a q6600 running @ 4.0 so I'm pretty sure its not a CPU bottleneck

    But this ing parallel vga architecture is a little boring...
    Now 3dmark is like spi... U must only overclock your cpu... Even on air gpu are good...
