Nope just had the OCZ ram cooler over them. When I first put the board system together though I had no cooler blowing on the RAM and I noticed they sure got hot, so I invested into the OCZ cooler with the dual fans. WOW what a difference, it kept them quite cool.

I will take some clear pictures of my system when I get home to show you an idea of how my setup is.

you didnt by chance have modified heat-spreaders on your ram modules did you ?

I would just run your mem between 800-950, I dont even think you can notice the performance gain from 950+ on these DDR2's.

I notice the gains in timings way more than mhz. Drop it down to 900 and you can easily hit 4-4-4-10

and with only 2 sticks you can maybe hit 4-3-4-9 at 900mhz or less
