    Cool 4GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 @556Mhz 55415 at 1.92v @550Mhz 44412 at 2.28v !

Playing with Windows 2008 Enterprise SP1 64bit OS and 4x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 (2x dual channel kits)

    System
    • Intel Xeon E3110 Q750a158 2V7**** / ***414
    • CPU Cooling: Dtek Fuzion Rad Tower Box
    • Asus Blitz Formula 1402 bios
    • 128MB Gainward FX5200 PCI
    • 4x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 (2x dual channel kits)
    • Memory cooling: 120x25mm Thermaltake 81cfm fan
    • 320GB Seagate 7200.10
    • Pioneer DVD-RW
    • 1200W Silverstone OP1200
    • Windows 2008 Enterprise SP1 64bit OS

    Just tried 4x1GB and it's fine i.e. 556Mhz 5-5-4-15 at 1.92v works fine with 5600+ MB/s memtest bandwidth.

HyperPi v0.99b - basically a Super Pi v1.5 Mod GUI wrapper app

    Like the 4-4-4-12.
How much more nb voltage do you need in order to play as tight as with 2x1GB at same clocks and PL?

Haven't tried as tight as 2x1GB yet so no idea on that yet.. still fairly loose for above 4x1GB tests compared to 2x1GB

Let me rephrase that: keep your current timings of 4x1GB pull-out 2x1GB and tell
me how lower can be the nb/mch voltage. I am expecting a 0.1V difference...

Those are some really nice scores with four sticks! Is it safe to assume that you're using the "old" double sided ballistix in these tests?

Very nice eva, Crucial are some of the best ram out there. What vNB does it require for 4 x 1GB? Also, what was the real vdimm? (I assume 1.92v was bios set) - if it was real vdimm, thats some awesome ram.

Couldn't help but notice how close my P45 results are to your P35 results at the same clocks and almost the same timings. You have slightly better read BW and lower latency though, and I get 5796 MB/s memtest bandwidth. P35/45 are not too dissimilar performance wise.
