Now I can only say: JEES, RELAX GUYS, TAKE A CHILL PILL!!!
For real man, I thought I was under a lot of hype with this new release (considering I have abandoned my SLi rigg, and there is no way back on this), and this might just be what the doctor ordered... Net searches, reviews, countless pics and interviews, Cebit eye-balled, countless hours, a real sleep problem... I'm down right now, low ass hell, cause I've never payd so mutch atention to this step in the harware war.

By the way, thx OBR for the relief (GX2+intel chip).

I'm going to eat my way to sikness, and hugg that pilow...
    Cheers fella's!

You fail journalism 101. You are supposed to be a professional reviewer. Such comments destroy your credibility.

congrats OBR, you now have less credibility than the Inquirer! now maybe you can quit advertising for your "site" on our forums. XS deserves better than some fanboy passing off his BS. as a review.

in 20 years of time the US won't be a world power at the rate its declining so there won't be either ati or nvidia, just Intel and european companies

That or hopefully we'll get a good president this time around and I'd say it could go either way in 20 years time, who knows, if gt200 is a monster, nvidia may hold the lead for some time, and with the way they're going, they never will have a true high end for a while until games start becoming more favorable to dual gpu solutions, just an amazing performance card and a dual gpu version of it

OBR....lashing out and calling everyone a fanboy is just unacceptable here at XS.

Everyone is allowed their own preference and opinions, but when you start bashing other members because they don't agree with something you said, we can't allow that to happen. This is not the first time either...

Hopefully this thread can move on and we can have more clean 9800GX2 chat here

Being someone in between myself, with a slight deference to ATI (but not AMD) due to having a family member work there for a while, I really wonder (and am honestly curious) about how OBR was feeling when ATI WAS winning.

apparently that was when we were all stuck in the matrix.... ^^

To get back on topic, i think the 3870x2 is a decent offering, and i dont think anyone expected it to trump the 9800gx2, this is all fun and games until we have proper drivers publicly available so we can get a decent sample size of tests, rigs and comparisons, so i don't really know why its becoming such a personal thing. Let the performance speak for itself, and save the cat fighting for other flame ridden forums

I want to see some quad SLI vs 3870x2 Quad numbers!

And noticed the NV presentation said "rearchitectured drivers ... for 4 way AFR". Wonder if this will enable those with old 7950x2 to be usable again!

If you look at the bottom of the presentation, it says Windows Vista only for Quad SLI. MS must have paid big bucks to not allow "more than" dual GPU operations under XP!

MS paid money so their own OS doesn't support something they don't want in?

    Generalizations are, in general, wrong.

Jeez this got totally out of control... Peeps get too arroused by some super duper expensive hardware thingy.... guys it's a hobby not a lifestyle (although my wife thinks otherwise) We are human and each has it's own preferences , luckily otherwise everyone would chase the same woman lol...

Hopefully this expensive hardware will deliver tomorrow good results, otherwise another paperweight release to me...

Also take note guys that some peeps do not master english like most of you... Some can't read in between the lines and that's always dangerous as some get the wrong idea...

Can't wait till tomorrow , I love new toys...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

look at the bottom of the picture:
"The OS framework required to support four frames in-flight only available in Windows Vista"
Notice any grammar or spelling mistakes? Feel free to correct me! Thanks

So I'm not the only who have deference to ATI but absolutely not for AMD
