    I have seen some good results from the chips that have the T at the end...that is a nice chip.

    The reason, or origin for the "T" on these codes is mysterious, as nobody has volunteered any information on why they used this letter in some of their early batch codes. Intel will not say anything. I got mine from NCIX when the E8400's were first available.
