*sigh*... i have all this space in my shiney new case and no phase change to throw in it...

I dont think phase is the best idea for a computer thats designed for 24/7 operation though.

How much is a cheap and partially poor phase change rig, just to hit like 0ºC on full load, say a Q6600 running at 4.0+

Runmc/Jinu for the new ones, and Little Blue rom Chilly1.
It's actually hard to find parts for a "cheap and partially poor phase change" setup. Most of the time its pricier then going with what the builder has if he orders via the pallet.

Have any tests to back that up(feelings don't count)?

Your entitled to your opinion about chilly but leave that in other more appropriate forums. But as far as the phase change forum I'd like to read factual info only.

He's actually sorta right, the Little Blue is designed to be cheap, and with a good (103cfm) fan with high pressure. All together its great, but lacks truly large capacity.

You sure thats the dimensions? I didnt have nearly that much room at all. No I dont think a CryoZ will fit, as for heat, compressor heat and condenser heat has to be routed away from the motherboard.

Thats the Cryo dimensions that I pictured in red (the space required by a Cryo without taking any of it's side panels etc).

    These are the Rocket:

It would really involve a lot of work but I'm thinking about loosing some interior parts and cut the front to be the Cryo display.... What do you think:

Thanks for the info n00b, it will probably be more work then I expected and could damage the case for good also...

I think I'll give up on doing that unless it would be possible to remove the Cryo casing without loosing warranty.

Yeah you remove they'll kill your warranty, if you want it in the case, your better off getting a unit that was built to go in, or a case with unit already built in.
