Vince, let me get you right.

rev. 3.0 are fitting the X2, but the slim units are not?

All of the new rev3.0 and slims that go out in about a week or so will ship with the new bracket. The slim design has been changed to accomadate ATI X2 card better. There is NO WAY I will change the 3.0 design for these 3870X2 cards, cuz the unit is perfect and the card is most definitely not .
On the old slim/3.0 bracket (2900,8800u), the fit is great with those cards but with GTS it's a little off, as that card was released after current bracket was done. New bracket fits All the old cards still + GTS + 38070X2 + 9800GTX which launches in about a month .

New 4.0 unit for NVIDIA'S new flagship card is specially designed and tested specifically for that card... it has to be that way for this unit to be the best it can be with that graphics card. Slim unit will be geared more towards TRI-SLI and ATI X2.

offtopic: Just thought to update the avatar to this kinda "artistic" more civilised version when i played with photoshop. For me there is still some funny aspect to it but its not as obious as before (doesnt work if one doesnt know the original picture).

Looking forward to see the overclock battle between nvidia x2 and ati x2 cards.

Hey there everyone

Wanted to update the thread with some new benches on an 8800 GTS G92.

For a bit of background, this is my first GPU that I have frozen. Ive been into extreme cooling for about 3-4 months, and LN2 for about 2-3 months so Im pretty new. Ive done about.....20-30 CPUs but only this 1 GPU.

The Tek 9 is AWESOME. Swings very little. Holds temps like a champ, and in my n00b opinion has a HUGE internal volume. It made benching/freezing a GPU VERY easy even for someone relatively new such as myself.

And also.....just LOOK AT THE CRAZY CLOCKS!!!!!

The scores are decent to good, but I still need to do some tweaking, and for 3D06 I need to freeze my quad with the GTS G92. E8400 was definitely hurtin' me on 3D06..... but......are these clocks any good?

PS - My hat is off to Vince for this amazing pot! If a new guy like me can take this pot and do what you see with it, I think anyone can!

I was trying for 3Ghz shader yea....but I experienced a weird issue....

When I put the shader higher than 2940 in 3D06 I would finish Battle for Proxycon NP, and would finish all of Firefly Forest NP, but IMMEDIATELY after FF the computer would restart and then not POST.

Did it to me like 6 times in a row last night before I quit for the night.......

Did really work out absolute maxes on everything yet, and least of all 03/05/01.....

Any ideas on the restarts and no POSTs after FF but before CPU test?
