I'm betting these are 78nm Micron, same as in the new Crucial 4GB kits. Nice stuff for 4GB!
Formerly XIP, now just P.
Another reason to hold off on my upgrade. Hope the prices are at least close to reasonable...

Yay, another 4GB kit to buy! I hope my PC8000 G.Skill works out so I don't feel like an idiot for under-buying yet again.
Let's see that on something that isn't 680i/780i before we get too excited. Still nice result.

When and where? I've been waiting out for a 2x2gb set for about 2 months now, these seem to be exactly what im waiting for.
Nothing anymore
the 1066 2GB stuff does about the same on 680/780i.... not so much on X38 from my testingLimit on X38 is around 1100-1130mhz 5-5-5-15.

nice, we finally have a choice in super quality DDR2. its been 2x1gb D9G-- for so long now... i'm excited to see some 2x2gb kits that aren't micron.
wow.. awesome.. now i really wish i got these instead of the 1066's.. damn

great OC but keep in mind the motherboard it was run on
this will be much harder on intel chipsets unless those are not RAM limits
if this is micron more volts will help
i work in laptop industry and we get 2GB micron based RAM SODIMM so they definitely have smaller ICs to make higher capacity sticksbut those D9 ICs are not as good for OCing as old school D9Gxx were

i'll test a kit on a few mobos and let ya know what the limits are![]()
So would 1066 binned sticks deliver similar results on a p35 board --1100 /1140 range and as such the premium paid for the 9136 stick a waste? what if you were planning on running 8gb? Trying to determine if it makes sense to what for the 9136 vs 8500 at 8gb on a dfi p35 board (w/c nb & sb)
