The TRUE will beat just about everything. Scythe just came out with a monster-sized cooler called the Orochi. Not sure how it compares.

I have two TRUE coolers matched with Minebea fans in push-pull configuration. The Minebea's are expensive, but they have a life expectancy of around 20 years. My grandchild will inherit the fans. lol

How is the 9700 going temps wise? I've got a 9500, but it isn't really coping with the quad at load. I'd like to stick with Zalmans because I love their design

If this goes any further I would have to say if a person is a active member of the XS DC community they keep the color. It is for everyone that puts time and money into the XS machine.
On the other hand xxxxxx for WCG should be just that IMO.

Oh and for the record Riptide I don't listen to rap, nor like it, not to mention bad Irish accented, drunken rap. That is just simply an assault on the ears.

I am sorry that I even brought this up, never mind. I was not trying to alienate anyone, I just was hoping that we could do something to get our existing members back in the saddle for XSDC and help the team.

    My apologies,

I've pondered what we could do to have a contest. Something along the lines of "everyone that submits more than [some nominal number] of work units on any (?) XS DC team is in the running for [some prize]" Or else I note that over at HardOCP they have nominations for the cruncher of the month. I think they give away access to the pay-only subforums over there. Not sure what we'd give away, but I'd pony up a buck or two for a Newegg gift certificate fund.
