Just because it has a sticker doesn't mean it's a prototype or won't be released. Quite a few Mobo manufacturur's just have one PCB manufactured and then put different features on them to create multiple Mobo models. From experience you can clearly see where there are missing capacitors and fan outputs on my P965-DSR3. Also, the sticker method was seen on MSI's budget p35 board over the Platinum model.
You've honestly never noticed that foxconn makes parts for all mobos?
1. You should. I find it enlightening to examine my hardware to make sure it works before I just slap her in the case and fire it up.
2. Do you ever say anything helpful? Every single post you've ever made since I've started browsing these forums has been negative or derogatory. You're always arguing and insulting, and most of the time wrong.
Who cares? If it's his job, then he qualifies as knowing just as much, probably more, than you do. I don't think anyone cares where he gets hardware as long as he knows it well.

I know it's a sort of a prototype, but why only 4 phases? Plus, the retail looks completely different.
I also found P5KC prototype board, but this one at least fairly resembles the retail, except slightly different SATA ports placement and simpler cooling.

About first post, first picture is P5K-E with P5Q Deluxe sticker, second picture is not the final product, it certainly has 16 phases and 3x PCIe x16 slots:

So, the P5Q-deluxe looks like it should be pretty amazing. How will we know when a revised version is out later in the year, and more importantly, how will be able to make sure that the one we purchase is one of the new ones?
