So who would like to see an all in one phase unit mounted in one of these? Maybe set off in its own compartmented area?

Went to customer service with receipt in hand printed out, asked if they matched price, guy said yes without even really looking. So then went over, grabbed case, went to checkout. Didn't ring up at the price I wanted, showed the receipt, she called over manager, manager started saying sorry we can't, I said yes you can. Arguement began, asked for their price matching policy, he matched the price.![]()

Don't start with the manager. Bring the transaction all the way to the point where the clerk needs the managers price override code. By then the manager will be approaching you a the customer who has the expectation the PM just needs the formality of his key code. Watch him shoot a dirty look at his clerk and approve it. Lol. They weren't at the "end of life status" but were on another list when my clerk checked. Good luck.
I'm guessing you have to make allowances for the local culture. Apparently in Jersey its not a deal killer to argue with the manager. In laid back California, we don't want anyone to lose face.![]()

Did you say "Do you know who I am?! I'm the n00b 0f l337 muthafecker! I'm in the -100C club!"?That would have worked on me. Hell, I would have paid for it.

Hahahaha really? I'll go in with a friend with a camera if you'd buy me another case
I'm in love with it already, and just finished temporary mounting a phase unit in. Looks so sexy. And yet still so light.

I may go back and and grab two more. Don't need 'em but they're pretty nice cases for the price. Doing a transplant now that dremel work is complete
I'd like to see a phase setup too

which receipt did you show them ?
damnit to hell! i hate best buy. the manager was such a jerk off. i went to the local best buy and the manager said he wouldn't price match it. he didn't even look at the receipt. he told me it was his discretion on ANY price match. so i called the corp. number right in front of him and had national customer service call him. and they sided with him. they said since the receipt was out of the store regional territory that he didn't have to match it. BS.
who wants to buy one of these and ship it to me??![]()

o man, i'm gonna have to check it out at my local BB
anyone around the boston/north shore area get theirs for 50 bucks?
i redid my water cooling . n o need to dremmel. all drill![]()
I removed the 2 hdd cages and made a template of my heatercore shroud and marked the holes in the bottom of the case and drilled right over the vent holes for the hdd cages so air can pass through right to the rad.. . Also took my old wheels from my stacker and drilled holes for those so there would be plenty of clearance for airflow to the rad. I added a rectangular sheet of mesh between the shroud to capture dust since there will be a lot because intake is to the floor. after removing the hdd bays from the bottom I put my 2 raid drives in the floppy bays and my storage drive on the top mounted on its side (holes in the bottom of the last crossbeam match exactly to the ones on the HDD..so no drilling!!) after drilling holes to remove the cross beams for the 5.25 bays ...my pump rests nicely on the bottom beam next to the storage drive.. you need to drill to get the screws out. i put my old p5b dlx in there to make sure my cpu tubes would reach. its pretty tight but its flowing nicely. As you can see, I'm not much for cable management since I'm alsways swapping hdwr in and out. oh well. gets the job done.
ps I must say this was the best $75 I ever spent! Plus this case is surprisingly quiet. Much quieter than my old stacker was. FYI![]()

Finished my transplant earlier. I tried a dremel but went & picked up a jigsaw instead. First time using one so I'm glad the mess I made of it was only on a $50 case. Grabbed a couple more one for living room as media pc and one just in case. I like this case better than my antec 900 but not my tagan black pearl (v2000 clone). All and all though this was a great find and I'm happy.

Has anyone done a window mod on this? just curious if anyone has any parts suggestions, i plan on doing one this week.
I'm putting a fan grill of sorts on the lower right to allow the phase unit to exhaust air not into the case, what do you want to do Russian?
I would simply painters tape the entire thing, draw out carefully (and measure twice) your window. Start in the area you'll be throwing out, if you have like a 1.5" holesaw, drill a hole, then jigsaw from their. If you have a dremel, just start after the tape and design go cutting, be ready to file afterwards. Or, if you have a full holesaw set, use them as tracers for your windows curves if any, and then use them to remove all said curves, and jigsaw/hacksaw/dremel to remove the non bend sections.

Just a screwed in window... So panel on the outside with window on the inside and then the screws holding them together that are on the outside of the panel.
I will do this with my dad since my last case mod ended up me having to sand alot off since my jigsaw wasnt too great. I will need a good blade this time.
Here is what my case looks like right now...
