If you're not paying attention to your hardware, funny thing how are you paying attention to unreleased hardware.

Having access and stuff given to you isnt the same as building it, and paying for it yourself.

I thought P45 had native PCIe 2.0 x8 connectors so no need for a PCIe switch? I'm pretty certain one of the older Intel slides indicated this. Here's to hoping P45 will enable Socket T to go out with a BANG

wait, crap Are you really picking a fight on the Internet? You were clearly mis-informed in your original statement, then you dare say "And two, screw yourself buddy. Don't get pissy because I BUILT a better rig than you." Why? You just have an E8400 and a 780i but on top of that, attempting to call someone out for having seemingly lesser hardware. Next-time you unwrap a motherboard, take a look at the socket protector, Foxconn. They manufacturer EVERY one of those protectors. Don't have one because you only have one motherboard? I can mail you half a dozen. Just because you are remotely anonymous on the Internet doesn't mean you have to be a jerk.

the second asus board says foxconn on it. They should get their manu to fix that.

You've honestly never noticed that foxconn makes parts for all mobos?

One, I've never really payed attention to those.

1. You should. I find it enlightening to examine my hardware to make sure it works before I just slap her in the case and fire it up.

2. Do you ever say anything helpful? Every single post you've ever made since I've started browsing these forums has been negative or derogatory. You're always arguing and insulting, and most of the time wrong.

Who cares? If it's his job, then he qualifies as knowing just as much, probably more, than you do. I don't think anyone cares where he gets hardware as long as he knows it well.
