Real Temp - New temp program for Intel Core processors
Version 3.00 - Released February 4, 2009
RealTemp is a temperature monitoring program designed for all Intel single Core, dual Core and quad Core processors. It's compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7, 32 or 64 bit. In Vista or if you are in a limited account, you will need to right click on the icon and run RealTemp as an Administrator so that the driver will be properly installed.
New features include an updated user interface, a high temperature alarm, reporting of minimum and maximum VID, Quad Core ordering based on APIC ID, log file in CSV format for better Excel compatibility, Up Time counter as well as long term stability improvements.
RealTemp is available for download at TechPowerUp.
http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/
When using UAC in Vista or Windows 7, use the Task Scheduler to get RealTemp to start up with Windows. This method allows you to give RealTemp the necessary privileges so it can read your sensors.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...postcount=3657
With XP or if you are not using UAC, just drag a link to RealTemp.exe into your StartUp folder.
I prefer this method so nothing needs to be added to your registry and you can drag the RealTemp folder anywhere you like and anytime you like.
RealTemp 3.39 is a work in progress:

Last time I checked, Everest was using the same TjMax=105C that CoreTemp has been using for the E8000 processors.

nice soft!
if realtemp is right(hopefully) i'm doing 44-46c on load @ 1.2vcore which makes more sense than coretemp/everest @ 54-56c and speedfan is right in the middle @ 49-51c.
you can see the pattern of exactly 5 and 10 degree difference between the softs
suggestion, makes it go to tray please :P

10 degrees lower than everest and coretemp and 5 than speedfan...but when i test idle temp calibration it say that core 1 is bad (core0 ok) so its poss to make correct the core 1 too?nice job...congratulation

Under Small FFT's test, now real temp shows 10C lower temps than coretemp, is that right?
I am happy now!

Thanks for the software. The core temp reading is same as speedfan. Only bug I found is my E6320 is detected as Xeon 6320.
