One of the best guides to american fast foods is The Evil Sam's guide

    http://www.99w.com/evilsam/ff/

funny and interesting. He also does some off the wall film reviews as well.

Can't quite compete with Mr Robinson and Holy Sheesh Kebab burger but here's my kebab pizza I did and originally posted on beyond3d.com

    http://www.zen141854.zen.co.uk/pizza1.jpg
    http://www.zen141854.zen.co.uk/pizza4.jpg

I also do a good conversion of the McDonalds Big Tasty. Buy 2 big tasty's and throw away the top bun on each and also most of the sauce and the lettuce. Now you have 2 bottom buns and 2 tasty's. Ram them together to make a new burger and put them in the microwave for 1 minute. I'd suggest Kai do same but using 4 .

I once tried making my own biscuit and gravyin the american style and although the biscuit was fine the gravy was a bit too stodgy I think, I have never eaten the real thing so it is was hard to judge. What the hell are grits ? Sound horrible!

Have to say in the UK we do not have as much choice of burger joints, what we do have do not do as many items and those items we do have are not as good. We have to make do.

I'd love to go to In-N-Out though and see what they taste like. I think half my fascination is the burgers sound like FSB : RAM ratio's, so you can have a 4:5 or a 3:2, 1:1 etc but of course they term it 2x2 etc. I wonder what the optimum ratio of cheese to burger is for an in-n-out? Is it a straight 4x4 or are you better going 4x2 or even 4x3?

That's a computer overclockers mentality, what permutation is best?

    Regards

    Andy

    Just some Asian delicacies.

Let me do the walkthrough, starting with the most begign.

The first picture is snake soup, which shouldn't gross anyone out because its relatively common in the western world.

The second picture is a delicacy. Look carefully. The meat is not roast duck. Its rodents. Roast rats. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

The third picture may raise a bit of ire. That's Fido being served up Thanksgiving style. The picture shows a Vietnamese woman, but the dish is found pretty much across Asia.

The fourth picture is a Thai gourmet fried appetizer platter. Clockwise, we have leeches, beetle bugs, c0ckroaches, lizards and worms.

The fifth picture is distinctly Chinese. Look carefully at the dish. Those are the remnants of a live monkey. Yes, its pretty gross.

Hey, everything tastes great with a little sweet and sour sauce. Everyone chooses between the three main different types of sauces, but nobody needs to know what meat they are consuming .. its all delicious anyway lol

    Uh Huh.. Roast dog...

The chicken that fed you a while ago didn't commit suicide.

I personally have never eaten dog, nor do I care to.

However, this is an international forum, and tolerance and understanding for other cultures (rather than prejudice and hatred) is encouraged. May I remind you that the population of the "dog-eating" cultures outnumber the non-dog-eating cultures by more than a factor of two.

    Not the kitties!!
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

So I guess it's just as morally acceptable to force cats and dogs to live in cramped squalor before you butcher them as it is for giant poultry plants here to marginalize their livestock into horrid living conditions? I see no fewer than 9 cats in that tiny cage, and somehow it's not cruel or unusual to them? Tolerance of other cultures is one thing, but accepting blatant animal cruelty is another. I'm not saying we're any better here with chickens, cattle and pigs, but come on...
