Hmm.
Seems like nobody has any experiences with it![]()
from the reviews ive seen they arent great.
and how can they dare call it a "lan party" then NOT INCLUDE MOUNTING HOLES AROUND THE SOCKET!!!!!!!
Dell Studio XPS16... no desktop![]()

I like it too. Forget where I read the review. I got an AN7 and was thinking with all the drama, might get my second choice - this.
I know it has holes and good voltage options. I think vdd is 1.9.
edit: found a review. This is the one I read.

WEll i hope theres more then just that one review.. He dont go into overclocking that much at all.. I forgot i read that one a while back and i even emailed the guy askin if he had it in DC and CPU interface set to enable when he got that 242FSB and never got a response.

Dont forget the DFI Infinity version of this board . It has all the same voltage options as the Lan Party Rev B .
See here :

Cheers
Look at what this guy wrote in the review..
LOL! Whoa.. major overclocking there bud.. A whole 217FSB! YIPPY!.. What a loser. You also won't find anyone complaining about the NFII Ultra Infinity holding their overclock back either. The NFII Ultra Infinity produced the highest FSB overclock at a fully stable 434MHz DDR clock with tight 2.0-3-3-6-1T memory timings.![]()
Still the board seems good enough to try once.. hehe. THat 1.9v VDD looks nice and the 3.3v VDIMM.. Now it can keep those 2 stable should be interesting.. Though the highest you can get with the vcore is 2vNow that sucks.. I hope someone can figure out a mod for that.

The link I gave for lan party rev B had like 240+. That guy just may not have stressed the infinity, didnt sound like it.
He did not push it at all as he says here:
"I had to increase the processor voltage to 1.85v, the chipset voltage to 1.8v, and the DDR voltage to 2.8v to get our maximum result, but the system proved it could still complete our overclocking tests without fault. I know this motherboard was just begging for more."
He still could have pushed 1.9v through the chipset and 3.3v through the ram .
As eclypse says if this board has an easy Vcore mod it might be worth a look![]()
It still have 2.0V on the cpu, while not an insane amount, is still quite a bit.
looks like a good board....
maybe it's time to put the old nf7-s to sleep![]()

They are in stock here :

It is about $70 cheaper that the Lanparty Rev-B .
I think newegg have them in stock aswell .
Would be very interesting to see one of these boards really pushed by somebody here
Cheers
Damn. That board is expensive...About 179 euros an none in stock...
(Germany)
SAE . I take it that price was for the LanParty Rev B version ?
The cheaper infinity board is more or less the same . I think it is missing some extra software in the package . Also the gig lan is gone along with the UV feature .
The main point is that the voltages are the same as the B lanparty and it has CPU mounting holes
Cheers
But do ya think it performs the sameOriginally posted by Mickey Padge

I think It should perform the same , no ? After all its the same PCB ( just red not black )Originally posted by SAE

Maybe DFI cream the better NB chips for the lanparty Rev B boards though ? Hmm ......
I think by looking at the review . If that guy had juiced it up a bit more I think he would/could have got alot more from the board .
Hard to tell really . I think he wanted to keep his ram within the manufacturers recommended limits , why else would you stop at 2.8v ?![]()
I would stop at 3.3V cause the board is maxed thereOriginally posted by Mickey Padge
