Just received my Abit IP35 Pro today. Still awaiting a few more items to arrive (CPU, RAM & Graphics Card).

My parts list is as follows:

IP35 Pro
Intel Q6600 G0 stepping

I will post a build worklog in the computer case section tonight. Still waiting for my internal parts to come back from the powder coaters

I will also be doing the heatpipe mod as per Ace-A-Rue's guide!

ok, I started doing the Ace's PMW heatsink mod and so far this is what I see:


is this a good sign...seems to me, as a n00b, this is not good. coz I only see a few indentation, meaning there is some contact, but not throughout.

I'll clean up the NB&SB with the Arctic Cleaner...I'm not sure about this brown stuff...coz I'm not feeling to confident in where to place the Ceramique on "mosfet???"

I see the NB&SB where I need to place the Ceramique but not on the mosfets...am I suppose to place Ceramique on all 12 of those mosfet?
