    you mean actually way to early? let's have a timeframe: ageia (ppu) -> nvidia (cuda) -> intel (gpgpu) -> dx11 with direct physics

    as for now: nvidia tries to melk the same cow as ageia did.

    maybe in 2 years the situation becomes more interesting, but for now there is to little acceptance by the developers and doom3 and crysis did show that you can have your own proprietary physic engine...and honestly, no one cares about flying debris

    I'm thinking about RealityMark and Ageia's (post 3DMark06) Futuremark engagement.

    Ageia could have made money long enough to reach the true potential of their PhysX technology, if they had acknowledged the diversity of the enthusiast market segment. As we all know, they didn't, 'till it was way too late.
