    That seems sorta high for stock.

    I believe the CPU temperature should always be higher than the cores

    Have you tried CoreTemp?

    My E6600 idle temps where at stock are around 21c, ambient about 21c.

    These are the temps at 3.4GHz 8x425fsb, Vcore 1.4750 under load and at stock.

    One thing I am looking at is this...

    Your mobo sensor is reporting 43C or 109F.
    Your ambient is 25C or 77F.
    That is a differeance of 32F.

    My mobo sensor at idle reads 13F higher than my ambient, and under load for 20 minutes or so, will read 15F higher than ambient. This is pritty darn consistant on my rig.
    At this exact moment in time with some mild system use, Everest is reporting 24C or 75F, my digital thermometer read 16C or 60.9F. A differeance of 14.1F.

    I find the large difference on yours of 32F between the two odd. Withought seeing your system, any chance it is over-packed with less than optimum air flow?
    Your case could be excessively raising your temps due to lack of ventilation?
    Guessing?

    Test: Take the side cover off, point a house fan directly onto the case on full. Do some more temp testing just to see if case ventilation is the key.
    If it was super hot in there, and if your RAD was using that air too, could explain allot.
    Mabey your RAD thinks your ambient is 43C?

    This calls for a picture I think...

    At around 60F ambient, my Q6600 at stock speed highest core read 31C Primeing.

    I just downloaded Coretemp, and it is reporting these temps at idle:
    Core #0 21C
    Core #1: 21C
    Core #2: 17C
    Core #3: 21C

    Room temp is currently 63.1F or 17.2C

    That's high for stock indeed. I have a Q6600 @ 3.6 GHz / 1.45v and I never reach 48C on the hottest core under load

    Here are my temps in Coretemp

    Idle(23c Ambient):

    Load(23c Ambient):

    @Talonman
    The reason why my motherboard temps might be so high is because I have a Thermalright HR-05 on the nothbrisdge and a Thermalright HR-05 SLI/IFX on the southbridge. Both are running passive and using the crappy Thermal Interface Material that comes with the sinks.

    I will try the fan thing and try to get pics up in a few hours.

    @disruptfam
    I don't think I have enough arctic silver left to do a remount I'll have to order some more tonight.

    Thank you everyone for your replies

    I reversed the fans on the radiator and temps dropped about 2-3C.
    Should I change the fans to this configuration:

    What would be the best setup for the fans?

    I would reverse the airflow of the bottom front fan.

    After trying several different fan combinations none of them seemed to lower my temps any, I went a head and ordered some Arctic Cooling MX-2 from Petra's and I'll try a remount once I get that.

    btw does anyone know the best way to apply Arctic Cooling MX-2?

    Setting the system on a board might give you better air flow than carpet too?

    I still think you should try the house fan test with the cover off. It will tell allot.

    Nice picts, BTW.

    I looked through my stuff and found a tube of arctic silver with a little left, and I tried doing a remount only this time I used a lot more than I did the last time. My temps are about 3c cooler under load on the hottest core 50c.

    I have been using my ehiem-1250 pretty much 24/7 for almost a year now and I bought it used so I have no idea how much this pump has been used. Could the pump not preforming the way it used to because of age? Could this be the reason for my high temps?
