Hey guys, I just upgrade my P35 platinum which ran stable at 3.2G on my Q6600 to this Formula Maximus and I cant even get it to run stable at 3.0G.

My sig has my new system specs. Maybe I can get some suggestions on what to run the bios at.

Is this board better than my P35 platinum for OCing ?

I can only speak for myself; this board (and my Q6600) is so easy to OC, and run at low volts I am kinda shocked. Currently running at 3.2 ghz with 1.3 volts in bios. PI and OCCT stable with 4 ballistix sticks for a total of 4 gb and all 4 cores running at max. Ram volts is set to 1.9 I think it is in bios, that is lower then specs. SB is set at low as I can get it, 1.007 or so. NB is set to 1.47 or so, dont remember for sure.

In my Antec 182 case with fans at medium, the CPU maxes out at about 55Celsius, and the NB at about 52 or so. If I run the top 2 fans at max, the CPU maxes at about 50C with all cores at 100%, NB is 48 or so. That is with FSB strap at 400 mhz, so the ram and cpu is running in sync.

Havent bothered going higher then 3.2 ghz yet (my sig is not up to date, currently at work).

PS The CPU fan is ONLY running at default/non rehostat speed of about 1000 rpm, can run it higher with a rehostat(?) for even lower temps. The mobo qfan controll on the mobo dont work with the Nexus fans, since its only 2 pin fan. As far as I know most are 2 pin fans, but the intel bundled fans are 3 pins.
