can someone with a Q6600 go stock speed, 2gb of 667 ram on x38 with either the gecube 3850oc or gecube 3870 oc edition cards please post pc mark 06 results here so I can see how much difference there is between the cards cant make up my mind which card and if its worth getting 3870 over 3850 as there is bout $100 difference. Only benchmarks I can find are on overclocked cpu's cheers

The manufacture do not matter, unless overclocked. They are simply coolers.

Why don't you compare them with the overclocked CPU, permitted the CPUs are identical and overclocked the same? The CPU should score the same, and the difference will be the graphics.

If money is an aspect, HD3850.

sorry for late reply had to wait for account to be reactivated after email change.Yea they are overclocked cards that is what the oc stands for.Yea that would give me an idea of the difference between the cards but still does not tell me how fast they will run on standard system like mine. But all this is old news as I decieded to go with the overclocked 3850 that runs at 725mhz which I currently am waiting for post office to track down after it went missing on way here glad it was a c.o.d
