    Latest Everest Ultimate will read everything except PLL on the maximus board

    Everest build number ?

    I have the 4.20.1270 BETA, and still only managed to get 12V/3.3V/5V and also wrong value's ...

    And CPU temps, but nothing else ...
    Can't be that there's nothing to read this mobo out .

    I use Everest Ultimate 4.20.1170. Are you running the registered version or trial version? I'm using registered non-trial version.

    I think I'm going to believe JoeBar that the P5E doesn't have the read-out's...

    Or you can do it the process of elimination way, downclock cpu with multi's downclock ram, find max stable fsb of mobo, after that find max stable speed of cpu PI is not gonna tell you if your stable, most who can pass PI can not run 3d apps or prime, lastly throw the ram into equasion once you found the max stable mobo fsb and cpu clock, eachtime you add something to the equasion you will likely have to downclock a tad.................

    I totally understand what you mean, but if you would think that my chip does 4Ghz on only 1.42Vcore, then I (!) know for sure it can be 24/7 stable on 4.2Ghz ...
    For 24/7 use I go till 1.55Vcore, and for now I don't now wich speed I can get on that Vcore, but I know for 95% sure it's higher then 4.2Ghz though .

    That's what I've tried, I could get till 470 x 7 on all AUTO settings... This was Prime95 stable for 5-6 hours, but when I tried 475 x 7 it would fail within 2 min...
    So I know for sure there's is something small that has to be tweaked a little, but what can I do if I don't can read out what the mobo AUTO picks for himself .


    BTW, I'm now on 3.8Ghz with 1.36Vcore and he's only 40°C stressed, with a ambient of 18°C, so temps are no problem... Even NB is 37°C stressed with 1.65V right now...

    475 is pushing it with a quad, from what ive read 450 is tough for some on this particular board, it has a FSB wall with quads. Use a higher multi. CPU PLL Volts and NB is likely your culprit, FYI with auto it over volts both NB voltage adjustment and a few other things. That would be a place to start. Its real simple what auto picks, set the settings that booted for you in auto, reboot, go back in bios, check your hardware manager for voltages. Write them down, then manually set them, I can tell you this much, what you set them at and what they read in hardware monitor are 2 totally seperate things. Just keep adjusting them till you match them.

    Wish i had your temps, I only need 1.325 for 3.6g but under load i'm right on the line damn near 70C, need to upgrade my water cooling before i can use it. Still on air.
