You can judge the performance as much as you want, but one of the key benefits from the VF1000LED (and GV1000) is that you get high compatibility, this makes those heatsinks applicable for nearly every 3D videocard out there, plus there is no standard heatsink which will come close performance wise so don't think this is really THAT bad.

Quick VGA benchmarking with acceptable heat levels, you really need one of those. I've been making custum socket adapters and stuff like that, well... there is nothing more pleasant then just grabbing the VF1000 out of my closet and knowing that the videocard will be running 3D Mark again in just few minutes.

Yeah, I know i doesn't offer top notch performance, doesn't make it a bad product though. Thermalright HR-03, I'd go with Arctic Accelero Xtreme for now, if AC only had something compatible with new series videocards...
