CELLSHOCK 9200 works fine with this board.![]()
There is only one problem...... i cant boot at 1200 cl4. i tried 2.7V and it doesn't help. i don't know what is the reason that caused this problem.
Maybe the next bios will be better.
2.38V - bios

In that case the BIOS will report DRAM as 1199MHz and you can have strong AI booster and transaction booster enabled = 0 configured.
It works here with the only difference that I have tested it at 9x450 and 8x450.
Do what I said with the MCH voltage and set the timings manually, i.e. 5-5-5-12.
On mine 1200MHz will work at down to 2.06V set in the BIOS though I run it at 2.10V at 1133MHz due to my Q66090 overclock.

thanks mate...i m gonna try...i ll let zou know tommorow
Can anyone get your PC8500 ram to either:
- 4-4-4-12
-higher then 1066MHz without having to OC to get it?
If so what do you need to do exactly? I cannot get 4-4-4-12 at 2.10V in bios at 400 FSB (E8400). I haven't tried a higher frequency because it's a pain to have to take out the ram, use PC6400 to boot back up then reinstall the pC8500 ram when something goes wrong. This bios 907 is the pits when it comes to ram adjustments with my PC8500!

Have you tried slots 2 & 4?
Seemed to fix the bug when Overclocks fail and default values are loaded, which lowers the vdimm to 1.9v which is too low for 1066 rated sticks. 667/800 1.9v for me 1066 2.35v.
Try:
-Slots 2 & 4
-DDR2 Controller REF Voltage : DDR2
-What is your FSB Term in Bios Set to? I noticed mine went from overvolt to undervolt from e6750 to e8400???
Here we go, stable for over 4 hours in Everest stability.

DDR2 Controller REF Voltage
This is the dram vtt. Should be half of the vdimm in most cases.
It helps stabilizing the vdimm. Leave it at DDR2_REF and use also
the white slots. These seems well so as not to have ripple on vdimm when
stressing memory

BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER
Caused by: Nostromo N52 Speed pad
-Happens after windows has loaded to desktop and loads drivers
-Does not happen if device is not plugged in, will happen after boot if you plug in regardless.
-Will happen in the absence of PS/2 Keyboard.
-Installed Latest Intel inf Drivers and Nostromo Drivers
This occurred in the past, but usually could be solved by a 3rd or 4th restart. However, as I clock higher it becomes more prevalent around 440-450
-Tried SBv 1.2
-Tried SB 1.5v = 1.6~
-SBv 1.1 & SB1.5v= 1.6 Success. Restarts are Good, Bug Gone...right?
This occurred in the past, but usually could be solved by a 3rd or 4th restart. 333 is the latest strap I'm trying since it only pushes to DDR2-1080 on 5:6. Restarts were great, it was like it was solved by 1.6v SB.
-Lowered SB 1.6v to 1.55v and it was back
-Switched back to my saved profile for 400 Strap 435*9 known stable.
-Restart it happens again. SB was at 1.5 in that saved 400 Strap Profile.
-Restarted again, only this time start opening folders and just kind of going psycho to try to "fool" it into missing my little bug. Imagine a burglar hiding from the police...
And its gone... Anyone have a Nostromo N52 they can verify this with?
***UPDATE***
-Tried 333 Strap Profile and Restarted - Didn't Touch any Keys on Nostromo or on Mx518 Mouse.
-Got Bugcode BSOD again.
-Restarted
-Tried Mashing Buttons upon XP desktop bootup
-Open files with Mouse, pressed keys on Nostromo (More like Mashing)
-It Works!

one question...
does our boards require more voltage to OC the cpu than others?
it seems like others are reaching 3.5 on around 1.3volts while we need 1.3volts to reach 3.0...or is that just my board....
help please!

Brisk, it depends. On my QX6700, I need less vCore than on a P5N32-E. But on my E8400, I need a lot more than most people are reporting (1.45v @ 4.23).
Do you have a B3 or a G0 Q6600?
I ordered a new E8400 to see if I can rule-out the chip.
