Whats your SB voltage? When you Clock your FSB up your not always just
affecting the link between the CPU and the NB. The NB is the central hub
to every component on your board. Some things can be locked (i.e. PCIe)
to a certain frequency while others like the SB (responsible for Sata, Pata,
USB, etc.) will/can be a affected be the FSB Frequency. I have mine
    at max 1.20v noprobs.

    Good Luck..

No, and SB @ 2.05? you must mean 1.05, try it at 1.20.

I have had the same issue about restarting after exiting a game, or actually
it was aquamark it means your overclock is not stable. See if the SB @ 1.20v
helps, if not bump your FSB down a notch.

What BIOS are working well with 45nm?

Iv tried 0906 (no POST) and 1004 (hangs in BIOS)

Some people are having success with these BIOS...answers would be welcome!

My 8200 8x525 is stable orthos small fft but When I run the large fft it crashes , I think the mobo limit or bios issue (mine 1004) !! also windows opended at 8x535 no problem..

If it's not stable at 525mhz in blend then your ram sucks probably. Give it more volts and re-try.

No , my ram absolutely stable I'm sure about that my tracer 1066 totaly stable 1200 mhz 5-5-5-15 timings 2.1 volts with divider and memtest , I think the board issue with the 45nm cpu

Well... small ffts stresses only CPU while blend stresses both CPU and RAM so...

I just ordered this motherboard. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to replace the TIM that comes with the stock board, with an application of Artic Silver 5 before I mount it in my case.

I wouldn't bother, but if I did I wouldn't use AS5, I would use something like Arctic Cooling MX-2, performs better and is non-conductive.

Just had a thought about this. Did you disable all the C1E EIST (speed step mess). If not your cpu may be droping the vcore down (to save power) at idle to the point that it becomes unstable for your overclock. Just go to the
CPU feature section in your BIOS and disable everything in there.

Na, max prime stable is around 4.5 with 1.6V, I have only done 10hr+ tests up to 4.3ghz @ ~1.525V IIRC.

Max SuperPi 32M stable and 3DMark06 stable is ~4.6ghz.

    bios settings

Here are my bios settings at least for now. I have not had this thing in use for 24 hours yet. I will play with it more but, it is hard to argue with where I am at so far.

As you can see I just left the strap on auto.

Not running too Xtreme on the voltage settings.

    Red Heat!

Here is a list of my parts for my all air system.

    Mobo-----P5KE Wifi
    Prossy----8400 Wolfdale
PSU------PC and Power Cooling Silencer 750 Quad
    Cooler----Scythe Cooler with 100mm fan
    Memory--2 x 1 gig G.Skill 6400 HZ

    HDD------250gig Seagate Baracuda
    DVD-----Samsung DVD writer
    FDD----Sony
    Vantec---Fan Contoller

You know it was not probably necessary to buy that PSU but, I have just always wanted a PC&P.
