Steve, I'm pretty much a noob at this stuff so forgive me if I say something silly. When you say you aren't getting your lan to work, do you get that message that says your ethernet cable is unplugged? Or something to that effect? I had that because I had to disable one of the lan ports because I guess they were conflicting.

I know yours was working previously but just in case something got messed up in the software. Or whatever would make that happen.


Also, I finally got Memtest86 working. How freaking long does this thing take? I'm coming up on 2.5 hours! I want to get back to installing things.

No I have no connections from my lan. The lan connections dont show in the hardware control panel and in internet connections it theres no connections showing.

That memtest can run indefinately. Your best leaving it run for about 5 hours to be sure.

Perhaps your lan driver was corrupted somehow?

So it's just repeating the same stuff over and over? I guess I'll just go to bed and turn it off in the morning.
