Nice results...
I reckon you give the Blitz the flick and try the DFI...![]()
Peace...
Any chance for this chip on SS/DS/LN2 ?![]()
Yeah will do SS later![]()

It's later now

nice work eva2000 specially with such low vcore, give her 1.75v now and she will fly on phase![]()
Thanks

you're a benching machine eva i think you get up in the morning and immediately start benching![]()
nah.. what's sleep ?

Nice chip man.
What clocks you going to run 24/7? 4.5?
PENGUIN BOX
CPU------X2 3800+ Toledo @2.6Ghz (260x10 1.35v)
MOBO----Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
RAM------OCZ Gold 2x1GB @ 2.5-3-3-6-1T DDR434
Video-----EVGA 7900GTO
HEAT
Probably 4000mhz at 1.28v is 24/7 for this cpu.. but it's for benching as i have Q6600 quad core for 24/7 rig![]()

George , can you do me a favor please ?
I want you to try again running orthos at the same voltages & Mhz you've run it at day1 . There are many reports of degrading CPUs
Bit hard to do.. cpu is on phase change right now
---
don't forget to note if those reporting users are changing boards/bios or cooling setups between their tests. These factors can also change the amount of vcore needed depending on board/bios/cooling used or environmental temperatures![]()
---
24/7 usage on water, bench on water...
still have the fall of Mhz with same Vcore..
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
These 45nm can easily boot into Windows at high freq but pretty hard to get it stable (i.e. Orthos).

Of course this can happen , but when you lose 80Mhz in just 2 days (because you benched with your single stage at 1.75v) it's easy to spot . Watercooled before , watercooled after . Same bios , same setup , same room , same temps.
I wish more people do the test and report . A poll must created also in this forum.
