Welp still working on mine Sadly only 6hrs prime stable at 1.304, almost 11 hrs before it fails at 1.312 trying 1.320 (1.34225 bios) now been going about 1/2 hr so far
this is at 450x9 for 4050 its it moves between 53C and 58C while under load core 1 is usually 1 to 2 degress lower than core 0 but core 1 seems to be the one failing Prime 95, kinda sucks as I guess heat isn't the issue in this case Its cold in Ohio today lol

    I am 4.3G Vcore 1.36 prime stable with 50ish & core1 56 core2 51 temps on load.
You'll need to get better cooling to run at volts that high, then you can clock higher.

You're welcome. I'm tweaking for efficiency now at 4.5Ghz (9x500) for 24/7 on my Max Formula; numbers are looking good.

    Thanks for the info X.T.R.E.M.E._ICE
Guess that is enough from me about the "T" thing. Anyhow, I finally got my E8400 installed and I'm gradually bumping it up. Was able to get to 3807MHz on stock volts, now I'm having to bump up the juice to go beyond. Got a ways to go, 4GHz here I come.........................
Update: Now running @4050 1.328v still Prime testing.

I have an E8400 but my VID is 1.1xxx VID which is a poor OC-er compared to some of us here which has 1.0xxx VID.

On a Foxconn Mars, I need 1.425V to get it stable at 4.05Ghz. This is terribly bad and can someone tell me if I'm getting this right?

I'm gonna use my good old P5B Deluxe mobo for my new, upcoming E8400, will see how it performs! I will go for 9*500MHz... The mobo can do 500fsb for sure, now its all up to wolfdale!

you guys are freaking lucky with your vcore. I dont know whats wrong with mine coz i need 1.35v just to boot 9x450 lol. Maybe i need to relax ram timings a little.

batch Q946A446 if i remember correctly

I have the same issue on my Foxconn Mars. My chip does 9 x 450 with around 1.35V. I believe some E8400 has higher VID that the others hence impacting the overall overclockability.

    Anyone else can confirm this?

Some are worse than others but I really gained a lot by messing with VTT and GTL settings.

You mean increasing the NB voltage and VTT would allow the CPU to overclock at a lesser Vcore? What's GTL? SB voltage?
