I spray these sinks with a very think layer of matte protectant finish to defend against fingerprints and light corrosion. Anodizing would have pushed the cost too high when I first started making these and everyone seems to like them just fine with the finish I am providing.

No, not at all. Anodizing is used to protect aluminum in adverse weather conditions or areas of high humidity. If you're using your computer in either of those, you have more to worry about than corroded ramsinks.

Also should note that aluminum forms it's own protective layer of oxide when fresh aluminum is exposed to air.

Exactly and that's why welding aluminium is a sometime if you are a bit slow But beside this, it's a great thing and aluminium oxide is very hard.

To damage it, it need a very moist area or lots of chemicals, both of them which isn't supposed to occur inside a computer.

They picked it up on the 21st but it didn't show up into the system until yesterday likely because of MLK day.

e: Just talked to Alex and he said that UPS considered monday an observed holiday but also a working day so who knows?

i dont know where your at but the wait is killing me im on the east coast so theres a three hour difference and they open at 10:30 then you have to add delivery into the calculation because you dont know what time they get their mail
