hi i am building a new computer for my friend he wants me to help him out. the problem is we cant get a maximus formula se i got mine previously but from nsw where i live we cant and hes dad dosnt let him use hes credit card. he has the choice bewteen these motherboards.

Gigabyte X38 ds5 and dq6
Gigabyte P35
Asus Blitz forumla
Asus p5e series

he isnt doing sli and he dosnt do water cooling or dd3 ram please help out i dont know which is best

well if you arnt doing sli or crossfire, then theres no reason to get an x38. Id stick with p35. I myself have had alot of luck with the p5k motherboards. I am currently using a p5k premium. Overclocks my quad core on the stock intel cooler to 3.4ghz stable dailey.

THats my recommendation.
One thing to consider however is that the ICH9 controllers seem to have a problem with sata 2 hard drives and raid or something. I use raptors..... so Ive yet to see any problems other than Great stability and HUGE overclocking headroom. Built in Wifi helps to
