The Redline are looking good. These could be my first 2x2GB kit!

( well, at first, I will have to find a place in Germany which sells it. )

The OCZ Reaper X PC2 6400 4-4-3 are a great 4GB kit too. Looking forward in what the Mushkins have to offer.

I'm only interested in 4x2GB kits, for 2x2GB there are better alternatives right now in the market, and dirty cheap
Friends shouldn't let friends use Windows 7 until Microsoft fixes Windows Explorer (link)

no they don't. that was an issue with the first release of these types of heatsinks. since then it has been fixed. but recommended installation instructions are to not push on the heatsink during installation but to press on the exposed pcb.

and did any of you read my post about the redlines? they are hand picked and should OC very well.

I don't currently have any more info / pricing on this kit, I am waiting for more or a sample, but nothing yet.

I'll let you know when I hear more.

Newegg has a few of the 2x2GB DDR2-800 XP2 Quad Kit CL4-4-4-12 @ 2.0–2.1V in stock last time I looked. With our 30 day compatibility warranty, worrying about a quad kit isn't really needed, if 4 don't work with together, you have 30 compatibility warranty to get a refund.

    @Fenom: That's a review of the 2x1GB Redline kit using D9GMH chips.
    • Modellbezeichnung: 996525 (2x1GB)
    • Modulgröße: 2 x 1GB
    • Verbaute Chips: Micron D9GMH
    • Taktfrequenz: 1000MHz
    • CAS Latency (CL): 4
    • RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 5
    • Row Precharge Delay (tRP/tRCP): 4
    • Row Active Delay (tRA/tRD/tRAS):11
    • Command Rate (CMD Rate): 2T
    • Spannung: 2,2V – 2,35V

This thread is about the "bigger" kits, providing 4 or even 8GB of memory.

( BTW, the results are quite good, but nothing special or something other sticks using D9GMH chips couldn't do. I'm especially thinking of the Crucial Ballistix ( Tracer ) 8500. )

Good eye, I've been trying to find out if we will have any reviews out there for the redline shortly, but the Redline XP2-8000 2x2GB is currently limited to EU only, so I haven't heard anything yet.
