Hmm...i got a noob question. LOL I noticed that there are two types of scores in free-dc stat. One is "World Community Grid" and another one is "Boinc WCG". The ranking are roughly the same but the scores use different scale. So, question is...r they the same or different? LOL e.g. 123sarah passed 1million in World Community Grid but he has 144k in Boinc WCG; while -pWs- actually doesnt appear in World Community Grid stat (bcos only top 500 is stat-ed) but he passed 2k milestone in Boinc WCG stat. So, which one is the 'standard' score used here?

On a side note I think we use both scores, but the BOINC one seems to be used more often.

When the WCG project first started, it did not use BOINC. It had its own points system. WCG later adopted BOINC. In order to convert BOINC points into WCG points, you multiply by seven. So 100 BOINC points, for example, equals 700 WCG points.

Hehe, I'll try to keep running at my latest daily (100-115k BOINC) for another 3 months or so. If it goes as planned, I might be able to catch up with you by the time I hit 6 months crunching for the team, Dave! Watch out, man!

Additionally, thanks to Victor for being a role-model for all XS crunchers, sierra_bound for being on a lookout for important Milestones, and support to members, Movieman and all others for constant encouragement, and congrats to all on hitting their goals and beyond! Let's keep up the work for a good cause

No, Thanks to you. I can talk till the fingers fall off but it's the guys that come and help that matter..
Now I don't want to make this too easy for you so I've got a little something planned that just might slow down that train I hear coming..
Maybe not stop it, but slow it a tad!
    Just a "little bitty" system..
Thanks again for your help. Means more than you know.

Dave probably knows a guy who knows a guy who got him a good deal on an early release of a Cray XT4 - but I can't remember if it's performance is measured in terra flops or peta flops. I guess we'd be talking work units per minute rather than the other way round.
