I still dont understand how that works, being that it wont move any faster to a cooler object (w/c NB), but.......sure, you can call it a win if it makes you feel better!!!!

I cannot vouch for 780i , but the Fuzion block on the Maximus formula SE helps laods on the NB and SB too (same basic idea ), I lost about 15°C on the NB and about 10 °C on the SB with that restrictive block.... maybe it's the NB no longer heating up the extra components linked to it...

No idea about physics , thermodynamics etc... but it works pretty good on the X38....
