The Windows Vista incompatibility is related with the Audio service. You can temporarily stop/start this services using the following command-lines:
net stop "AudioSrv"
net start "AudioSrv"

The snapshots are placed on snapshots folder.

Good idea, I like it.
Did I do something wrong or does it leave the super pi processes running after you exit Hyper Pi? After I ran two threads and closed out Hyper Pi, there was still two instances of Super Pi in task manager. Would be nice if it closed everything out when you exit.
