hmmm from the looks of it, i'll keep my system till spring and just update to a 3870 X2
unless i see one of you guys hit 3.2 Ghz then i bee all over one of these puppys.

I'm a bit apprehensive to put too much juice to it, so I'm starting with 1.4v atm. I'm stress testing the 12X multiplier atm. What multipliers are other guys using? I'm looking for a stable everyday OC, not some ungodly one time OC.

To be perfectly real about all of this , I would say the only thing Phenom is good for atm is a stock set up and just too much bull sh**t to get 2-300 mhz for all that aggravation is absolutely pointless and if the processors are not up to the task what makes you guys think these first generation boards are???/ Think about it guys!

It sounds like you're frustrated, you shouldn't knock others trying though. Stressing the 12.5X multiplier now. 12X was no issue for an hour of stress. Temps at ~40C.

I'm not frustrated and I am a big AMD fan but lets be real with this nonsense already. Sorry not trying to be a kill joy but this is my observation from what I see nothing more! You notice I am not sporting Intel with that statement right?

By all means guys I am not trying to discourage any of you and I'm all for get this stuff working correctly.
