Use Ceramique, not tape, thats 9/10ths of the point in purchasing these over other ramsinks.

I've had a set for a few weeks now, I can't be happier.

I eventually plan to go to a full block (I was waiting to see DD's product), but these are really perfect in the meantime. I hate (and with a passion) those stick on RAMsinks. I had horrendous problems with gettign them to stay and eventually ended up using a 50/50 mix of AS5 and Artice Silver two part adhesive to stick on the crappy ramsinks until iandh's came.

Still, since there was so little contact area on the non-mem areas, a couple still fell off.

    All better now though.

Is there a picture showing the exact components / areas that need to have ceramique applied? Maybe a picture with the components / areas circled or highlighted?

    No Problem.

iandh - Any ETA on how soon these will be at petra's?

Not to keep nagging or anything but if it will take another week / couple of weeks I would rather just purchase that controversial Dangerden block right now and get some use out of this card before it is time to upgrade again. I'm about to just buy another Power supply this weekend as well cause I'm not going to be down for a month due to Enermaxe’s faulty stuff...

Anyhow sorry to hear of your bad luck spree.
Well I'm in the US and the first set he sent me never arrived. He confirmed he is sending a replacement set my way shortly though.

Yours are packed up and ready to go.

Most of my losses were international shipments, in the US I only had two losses and a couple delays.

I think we all need a reminder of how sexy these are and why they are worth the wait.

What's the mounting like? How do you get correct and even pressure?

It's good to see iandh is really taking awesome care of everyone. Especially since packages lost in shipment are not his responsibility!

Hopefully you will be making this for awhile, I eventually plan to buy a set, but when I was ready for my setup, they were not readily available =(.

I will eventualy buy a set too considering my entire new build is waiting on them, you know, so I can view stuff on my monitor. Problem is they are not avail still

I fear by the time I get my GTS installed It will already be time to sell it for something else.

Mounting was easy. Applied TIM, screwed it down to what "felt" right, removed them, checked to see if the contact was good by how the TIM transferred, saw where it needed a little more turn and then remounted.

No problem, really. Except when my fat fingers kept dropping the included washers.

I can't take it any more. Emailed PTS and no response, I think I waited long enough with no PC and it may be time to buy my first full cover block. Don't want to put the stock cooler on because that screw up returns, and my old video card is waiting on RMA from EVGA. Laptop I'm on is waiting to be mailed back. I can give it a day or two but I'm starting to think it may be quite some time before we actualy see these sinks with no ETA's from Iandh or PTS and a month with no PC for me is long enough.

Seriously I am working on them daily... PM'ed Alex last night and told him that I should have the first part of their order ready to ship tomorrow or thursday. It won't be much longer.

I you really have waited that long I probably can make an exception and sell you a set, but please nobody else ask, me I am way too bogged down as it is.
