I only though yorkfields (quad core) were delayed except the extreme version, wolfdale (read dual core) was not delayed... not that I know off as some stores are stocking them too in belgium...

is it officialy released yet? no.

products get shipped a few days to weeks early from the manufacturer to the distributors and from there to stores to make sure there is enough supply at launch, but, some shops will break the rules and sell / list the stuff before the official release.

Since CES is the last large event before the rumored release dates i'd say watch out for intel to make a announcment with definite dates in the next few days.

E8400 arrive bench 4500 but RS over 4 ghz is not easy because FRS is over 450 mhz
480 x9 is 4200 mhz and 480 is not easy RS

should be easy... you only need 444 fsb for it...

besides, we have seen 4,5 on air from es samples around here, so 4 should be possible even if you get a "bad" chip.
