ok, you guys suffering from the ~47 minute crash in prime95 blend :
try running a custom test with whatever k size is not passing.

At some point, I was always crashing at prime95 blend at about 47min. Turns out the 896k test always failed. So I ran 896k tests only and upped my vcore until stable. I had to up it a few notches to pass

    there ya go

Krav : what bios are you using?? I have stable settings at 3.4 on 0903 bios.

Q6600 has NO HYPERTHREADING . You want an 8 core processor on a desktop huh? Me too; we'll have to wait a few years for that though.

Congrats on the good auction btw, you got a really decent price for your cpu.
I was really interested in it, but I'm going to grab a Yorkfield as well

    Thanks cadaveca.
I'm an old man with limited info. and sometime I just hate to argu.

    Currently working two boards, X3230/qx6700 on maximus apogeeGT/ thermochill 120.2 and QX9650 on P5E-D D-tek/thermochill 120.3.

Love the first board from the first sight although I know it won't be the one
i'm sticking with aka mistress!, or not 24/7.
The second is decent enough to be my 24/7 lady (that's till rampage becomes available).
immature ddr3 is limiting cpu is not i'm doing 50% mild o/c trying to stablize
the memory @ 1600 and not suceeding although can do 1800 @ the expense of latency.

Rez, yes it is in the bios but cpu does not support it.
last ht enabled cpu was something like p4 3.0E suggest that research some more in that area.

it seems this mbo is driving everybody .

Thanks. I was pleasantly surprised. That was a very good chip though; I had a hard time selling it, as it does 3.16Ghz @ 1.080v. My L737B can't do that. But then again, the L726B has a vid. of 1.2125, while the L737B has a vid. of 1.2250. In the end though, I knew the latter has more potential for stable clocking in the high Ghz. I was able to push the L726B to 495 fsb and the L737B won't post past 475 fsb... for now . I am currently running 3.825Ghz 24/7 with a cpupll of only 1.5v. voltage is 1.376 prime stable, on the 333 strap. I'm more than happy. I will keep pushing though.

I cuold have sworn that i've seen that option in my bios at one time, and it was ENABLED.

My bios did boost my FSBtm to 2.0v too, by itself. I showed over 2v in pcprobe and everest and in the bios hardware monitor

damn board makes me lose my credibility!

So what you recommend in not to deal with any of the other voltages other than the vcore? Why should vcore be a problem when i pass the small fft's test?It didnt cross my mind to be honest but i ll give it a try and i ll report back.
