PcCI2iminal, thanks again. It seems like Infinity is the best Scythe's cooler.

could buy two of these and compress the fins together on one then take fins off the second and add them to the first.

electroplate to get a really good connection between fins and heatpipes.

All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.

I thought Infinity has enough fins on its heatsink... By the way how much fins does Ultra 120 eXtreme have?

I never understood why some manufacturers put heatsinks on the base!

Putting a heatsink on the base actually pulls some of the heat into a trap. You want to isolate the base as much as possible (brackets too!) so the heat is carried into the heatpipe. After all that is where you want it to go not some tiny equivalent of yesterday's NB cooler.

How come you had the 2nd Ninja Copper fan next to the GFX card? wouldn't have been best to put the fan on the side and have a push pull setup like with the infinity?

It would have interfered with the RAM sinks.

both are push/push setups and I've tried many combinations and I used the best for Ninja and Infinity.
