Sounds like you've peaked with load temps like that. Most Q6600s I've seen don't go past 4GHz with your typical water cooling. I can get close to 4.1 but just idling. It's not stable.

for lapping anything i use a true flat thick piece of glass or metal (checked with a straight edge) then tape some wet dry auto paper on it and go to town. 500,1000,1500,2000. i make sure i keep it clean, no zippers, little granulars in the paper or under it. you will feel them if they are there. i use a straight edge on whatever i am lapping against light to check for flatness. if it has any highs or lows light will shine through..

    Hyper Threading

Where is the intel hyperthreading option in the bios??

i remember seeing it in my bios, but now i can't find it!

I'm having audio latency issues with reason 4.0, and i want to toy with HTT to see what it does

    thanks

I have the following problem.Prime 95 Small FFt's im am rock stable. But when i run the Blend i always get an error at 47-48 min.And i mean no matter what bios settings i have (PLL volt-NB volt-RAM volt-SB Volt) i always get an error at exactly 47-48 min.Not 46 neither 49.Do u have any ideas what to pay attention at.I have run out of ideas

And by the way i have lowered the mem timings @ 5-5-5-15 an increased Ram volt at 2.1.Still nothing.
