I'm replacing my DFI p965 board which has been absolutly a blast to use. It has been so far the most stable motherboard I have owned. I will be using it with an e6600 until the new chips come out and the TR-extreme 120. I also ordered an Asus PK5-e but that will be RMA'ed for this
Let us know how it goes , I'll be getting one this week.

Vdroop around .02 / .03 under full load. The board runs much hotter then the p965 dark. 52c chipset 48c system compared to 35c chipset 38c system on the p965. Performance seems the same compared to the p965 and the bios is almost identical, but it does have a lot more memory options on the p35.

My Core Temp reports 56c while the smart guardian reports 66c. With the p965 smart guardian was about the same as core temp.

Also i had to mount the thermalright ultra extreme horizontal on the p35 because the mosfit and chipset cooler were in the way.

do you have some screens/results to share comparing performances of both boards ?
and are there any squealing noises like on dark infinity ?

no screen shots yet. I do notice that the voltage is more "accurate" on the p35 board. Meaning the +12V is at 12.03V and not something like 11.83V on the p965. My p965 didnt squeal and this board doesn't either.

The board was really well packed by motherboardpro, which came straight from DFI. I wasn't really expecting better results over the p965; I just want 45nm support and maybe a better overclocker for quads (not that im going for quads) im going for the e8500.

No! That's something I've been enjoying! I turn on the computer and it stays on. It doesn't turn off then on etc.

Yes , it does indeed have one. Probably from some of the problem people had w/ the old NF4 boards when they removed it.

Curious as to whether this board supports Yorkfield (I know the 6-layer LT/UT do), anyone know of someone testing it out with a QX9650 yet?

Looking into getting this board for my Q9450 build but I remember seeing rumors a while back about 4-layered P35s having trouble with the quads.

for a difference of $40-$50, would the LT be a better choice compared to the DK?
