The For sale Forum still exist?

I have passed my 100 posts awhile ago, where was the forum locate??

yes there is , providing you did not spam your way to 100 posts you should have access sometime soon. spamming (posting just for numbers) will prevent people from ever seeing it, I read a sampling of yours and they appear fine so I assume you will have access soon. to be honest though the for sale forum is not all that, some people expect 95% of retail, in 18 mos or so of being here I have only bought a fan from the f/s section.

One stretch of 26 posts in ~4 hours. Stopped at 100-101. Most posts are less than a sentence.

Prior to that was a separate streak of 43 posts in <6 hours. Most posts are a very simple sentence.

Sorry Vapor but I disagree (as you sit back and think, who the F is this guy?!?!?! ). All his posts appear mostly productive, they are on topic, and or replying to something else. The guy has been here for MONTHS, not days, give him a break!

Hmm, thanks letting me know my average 8-9mins /post. Sure i do want to get there in short time, i spent few night going thru all the Cat. and posts, answer all people's questions with my knowledge, asked all the questions i what to know. They got their questions answered, i got mine.
So, what in my mind was getting there as soon as possilble while avoiding spam as best as i can. I mean who need 6 hrs to spam 43 posts?

You posted for quantity with the purpose of gaining access to FS. That's what we try to prevent. That's why the rule is there.

Our FS may not be particularly active, but access is a privilege, not a right. Someone who posts for the purpose of gaining access to FS is not what we want and has not earned access to FS.

And FWIW, I am one of the ones grading your posts. In fact, I was the one who went into admincp and removed your access.

We have a minimum 3 month waiting period to restore access...though most wait 6+ (largely because they don't properly participate in the forum).

You created a few FS threads that broke a major Classifieds rule. You did so even after being notified, in PM, of the rule.

You were notified after the first thread was removed and you said you were going to sell it somewhere else, you put the closed box thread right back up. It was removed, again. Then you did it again with another product. That thread was removed.

Your access has been removed as well...probably a temporary thing, but it may not be a short amount of time.

Actually, you have some sound reason for not letting member viewing until 100 posts? i think everyone will want to visit it especially those found out F/S before 100 posts. Just like a nake hot chick in front of you, but you not allow to see until whatever hundred times done. Fun game eh~~

*Basically, it's a probation period and we figure at ~100 posts, most people have earned their access. It is set up to automatically give access at 100 posts. In a few cases, such as yours, we feel the member has not earned the privilege, in fact...they've dug themselves a hole via blitz-posting for the reason of gaining access.

Also as I previously stated, fugger made the sale of es (engineering sample) products bannable to further discourage people from joining xs purely for the use of the for sale forum.

Here's a thought, how about making some use of what the forum offers beyond the for sale forum (and to be honest, though there are some nice deals, its not worth killing yourself over, just something nice to have in case you're short on cash and to help others sell for some extra $$), enjoy the knowledge, hell check out the phase change and dice/ln2 forums, there's some pretty awesome stuff going on there, you may be surprised at how far this forum's come.

I'm certain if you show that you're here to stay and have learned/taught a thing or two you'll get your access back

I was not initially aware of the FS section/100 post rule...one day I saw a FS subforum on XS and was like...hmmm when did they add a FS section? I think it took me at least a year to get over stage fright of posting here.

And TBH that is the way it should be. Knowing about a 100 post hoop to jump through is going to probably be a problem....

for 3 months (as that's the min time to get it back) prove yourself to the admins that you are worthy, do more posting (not spamming, they have to be legit and I recommend at least 2 senctences or so 1 long sentence to the least), learn some stuff, ENJOY the forum, its not just hear for the for sale forum
