see my sig to see what I'm running....
I have 3 Yate Loon Fans 120mm, I believe they are 1350rpm each...one is pulling air in from the bottom front of the case....second is pulling air in from the side panel right on the GPU, third is pulling air out of the back. I have a 80mm AC fan pulling air out the top of the case and my CPU HS is pointing towards the back Yate Loon fan...that pulls air out the back of the case...in case you're wondering I've installed a 120-80mm adapter to be able to fit a 120mm fan on my case which has a 80mm opening in the back...and I've removed the grill for better air flow but I do have a filter on the bottom intake fan just to keep my machine a bit cleaner.
I'd like to improve my temps, currently 42 on the CPU & 35 on the system, with everything you see running in my sig.
Someone suggested I get the Thermalright 120 Extreme HS for my CPU, but I find it a waste to replace the one I have.....will it be that much better than my current HS? worth the $50?
I'm thinking of maybe purchasing some Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA, (not sure what the recommended RPM range is for case fans)
3 of the in fact, to replace my slower Yate Loon fans...$8 each
What do you guys think is the better option? I know it is quite big and I've heard it can bend the motherboard over time, but Thermalright says the cooler will fit fine on my P5B Deluxe...
Thanks.
