    The next geforce king will be the 9800GTX, these are the specs that will likely be seen in this card.

    extremely unlikely, we can hardly use 512mb and they come up with 2048?

    Nvidia works directly with the gaming companies, so if they put 2 gigs of memory in their cards, then these new games will be using it.

    i would not be to surprised it has been forever since a new card in the high end and it would be about the same leap we took form 7800gtx to 8800gtx

    If they will release a 1gb 8800GT then i see no problem with them putting 2gigs on their top of the line card.

    Specs are insane anyway.

    If this is true I'd wager a q3 at earliest launch.

    I'd also wager this isn't true. Jump is way too big.

    Yeah, I honestly think this is BS. NVIDIA doesn't even manufacture current generation 1024MB VRAM video cards. Some of their newer cards don't even use GDDR3 VRAM, and at that, 0.25-0.5ns VRAM? With this much lower TDP and all this extra power...

    It really seems too over the top.

    crysis uses close to 950mb or vRAM with that ultra quality graphics mod with dx9. if one was to MAX out crysis in dx10 with 16xAA, thats GG for any oced 3 or 4 card set up available today. they specs shown to be in the G100 will most likely allow 50FPS MAXED OUT crysis game play.
