Well being stupid and not thinking things through, I thought that the conductive pen wouldn't be just a dispenser of a very liquid kind of substance and as a result, I applied the pen without masking off the area or testing it on a cheap motherboard i've got here..
It made a small puddle of it and seems to have bridged like 5 pins on the chip near that resistor (d'oh..). Trying to clean it up now with a pin and some magnification glasses. My second proper voltage mod, so not surprising I stuffed it :P Hopefully can turn out ok though.

Edit: Just measured resistances on both the resistor in question and between each pin on that chip, and all seems to be ok. Gonna make extra sure before I boot it up though.
