    However, let's be clear..this is a software benchmark. As such, it is more than possible for futuremark to integrate parts of exisiting rendering engines together to create a benchmark. Before I start making conspiracy claims, I'll look to the more realistic answers...


    Besides, pcpop is the original poster of these pics, AFAIK. I get the FM newsletters and marketing spam, and not one of them is from the newsletter, as the OP suggests.

    this is fake, you can find all this pics at the cgsociety forums, all of them were made by freelance artists. The last pic was made by using vue d´sprit software and the image is showcasing at their website.

    Oh wow, some of those are pretty incredible.

    I'm saddened by the lack of a Return to Proxycon. That and Canyon Flight were fun to watch.

    I hope this version has sound like the older versions, it would make things a lot more fun to watch.
