    some old school... E6750 on LN2

    Yesterday I've tested a bit again with Conroe

    mobo: Asus Blitz Formula (1302)
    cpu: Core 2 Duo E6750 (FPO: L727A)
    ram: 2*1GB OCZ Reaper PC2-9200
    vga: BFG 8800GTS OC 512MB
    hdd: WD Raptor 36GB
    psu: PcPower&Cooling Silencer 750W
    os: Win XP Pro SP2
    voltages:
    cpu: 1.88v | nb: 1.85v | sb: 1.2v | pll: 2.0v | vdimm: 2.50v


    4932MHz (8x616fsb) validation
    max fsb (6x621)


    max pic taken, valid is corrupt

    but yeah those are some nice clocks you have there Achill3uS. so close to 5ghz

    haha it was only fun mate this chip roxx on air/water (4G 1.45v benchable) and i expected good potential on subzero, but i'm sure that only the pll voltage was low for more fsb... maybe next time...

    a little secret: over@locker886 was benching too with me, but he pushed his wolfdale again... results soon

    Why is this bios able to read sub zero but almost no other asus board? It certainly shows that they can enable that iof they wanted to.

    mine is running at 3.9ghz atm on a WC setup... runs great. I really think those 6750's are reasonable clockers Good job m8, keep up.

    I have a E6750 G0 aswell, The overclocking potential of them is mind boggling.
    Iv got mine on 500fsb 3.5ghz on just 1.3 volts.

    after the RAM wall is removed with reasonable timings it's great fun with the 6750

    if you will use 45nm chips (Yorkfield or Wolfdale) everything else seems to be old school

    I really like to try a LN2 run on my 6750 but the point is I'm not such a waster of hardware
    I have no patience so this is probably going to hurt my cpu
