Who has removed the e21XX IHS yet? I gather they are not soldered on so come off easily. Is it the same as the Athlon 64 IHS removal pretty much? Also, what mounting issues does one have once it is removed, with regard to heatsinks? I read somehwere that it might be more prone to moving around being lose not clamped in on the socket mount. Is a shim required? What cooler works well? etc.
the reason i haven tried is because there are traces on top of the cpu and i do not want to damage them
