Do you really want a quad? If you can go for a dual you could get an Wolfdale E8500 in January. OC the hell out of that.
Anyway, with a Q6600 to around 3600Mhz or so you'll get around 15k + in 3dmark06 IMO. Also, go for a P35 board... no point in getting an X38.
