Really awesome work Andre. 1200mhz+ should be easy on those gpu units if you feel like pushing the cards harder. I could do 1220mhz core all day 06 on just dry ice with a 2900xt(512). Mid to high 1200's on LN2. You will need that whole rig firing on all cylinders pretty soon...
seeing andre pushing these cards so easy i cant wait to play with mine this weekend , 2900xt single .

andre push those card's and take down that 30k !!!

    Simply amazing. Great job man.
May I ask what voltage you have on the 2900xt cores? I run 1.35V for water.

Simply amazing ... Great photos and nice work ... I don't think I'll try that anytime soon ... should have a disclaimer saying ... "Overclocking done by professional ... Noobs should not try this at home!"

    Very nice results Andre!

With a little tweaking, you can surely go for a WR or at least get pretty close to it.

I didn't adjust any PCI-E frequency. Could PCI-E frequency help score on X38 mobos? I really am not sure, but I will test again this weekend.

Well on mine I run 115, and if I set higher it causes instability at 950 Mhz on the core, and any lower it does as well AFAIK......I'll test again though tomorrow or the day after.
I've always found that it gives a little headroom for OCing the GPUs.

I remember someone told me X38 PCIE doesn't help any 3D score. It's different between P35 and X38.

P35 PCIE 125+ help 3D score much, but X38 doesn't. Maybe we need to test again.

Oh I've never heard that it affected scores, but rather OC stability.....I'll test though. I can't get stable past 960 @ 1.35V in games...I freeze after about 5 minutes. I tried lowering the PCI-E to 105 and it didn't affect it, and I've tried higher too....

vic push the pci-e bus , damn u should alway's push it !
X38 just hass pci-e 2.0 but the 2900Xt's are just pci-e so yeah oc'ing the pci-e bus will help u get more speed . the reasson why it helps on P35 more is that it only hass 16x 4x cf , X38 hass 16x 16x so u will see nice boost when u do oc the pci-e
