nullface: there's no HT wall at 230MHz that I know of with Phenom 9500/9600 apart from with the DFI boards with the earlier BIOSes. 240MHz seems to be easy for many.

But it seems the unlocked editions have a lower HT limit and especially the ones given to review sites.

Yes,within a hour of tweaking.I know the chips max within a 100mhz on the given cooling.The rest is just playing the orthos/prime waiting game. Were not putting a man on mars here.

Highly unlikely thats these chips are B3 Rev. AFAIK they are the same 9600 retail CPU with an unlocked multi.
